On the 6th of June 2019, A. C. Lascaridis Charitable Foundation organised a highly interesting whole day event, dedicated to one of the most critical environmetal issues of our times. The Conference "Single Use Plastics: today the rule, tommorrow the exception" received the attention of several stakeholders, who contibuted their experience and expertise. Thalassa Foundation was represented by the Vice President, Vera Alexandropoulou, who participated in the round table "Collaboration on the field: Organisations, Donors and Needs"' and presented the projects implemented so far by the Foundation, focusing on the National Marine Park of Alonissos Northern Sporades.
Anni Mitropoulou, Director of the Cyclades Preservation Fund, Xenophon Kappas, Director of Captain Vassilis & Carmen Konstantakopoulos Foundation and Myrto Hatzaki Greek Programs and Public Relations Officer of A.C. Leventis Foundation also participated in the same round table, which was co-ordinated by Gerasimos Kouvaras, General Director of Action Aid Hellas.
